What's Happening at the Library

Regular Hours: We are excited to welcome you back on Monday, September 28th.  Starting Monday, our libraries will be discontinuing curbside services and will begin allowing people back into our libraries.  Our hours will return to normal.  For the Eden, Madison-Mayodan and Reidsville branches this will be Monday and Thursday 9-8, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 9-6 and Saturday 9-4.  The hours at the Stoneville Library will be:  Monday 12-5, Tuesday 1-6, Wednesday 12-5, Thursday 1-8, and Friday 10-6. Limited Capacity: 20 library users will be allowed in at a time to maintain social distancing. Masks must be worn correctly at all times inside the library.  Before entering the library, a staff member will ask questions to determine if you have recently been exposed to Covid-19.  Time inside the library will be limited to 1 hour.  When visiting the library please follow signs and designated floor markings and keep a distance of 6 feet from library staff and other library users. Limited Computer Use: Computers have been spaced 6 feet apart and will be limited to a maximum of 1 hour use per day. There will be a limited number of computers available for checkout.  Each branch has a public wifi network that can be accessed on site if you bring your own device. Returning Items: Please return all items via the book drop so we can quarantine them.  Items should be returned through the book drop even if you are planning on coming into the library to browse for more material.  Continued Online Programming: All in-person programming and use of the library meeting rooms has been cancelled at this time.  All library programming will continue online.  In addition to the online programming, children's activity packets and take-home story times will be available at your local library.

If you have a daycare, preschool, or care group and would like to schedule virtual story times with Miss Rachel, please contact her to setup days and times. We have activity and craft packets that can be dropped off at your facilities as well. We are here to help!
